A Day Spent with J Pod

A little rain and wind did not stop today’s crew and passengers from enjoying the water surrounding Southern Vancouver Island. Both our morning and afternoon tours watched J-Pod (28 Individuals) as they traveled towards San Juan Island and later spent their time foraging for salmon. We had a great look at J1 (Ruffles), as he surfaced amongst the group. We also stopped near the Chain Islands to get a look at the seals as they ‘basked in the sun’ on the seaweed covered rocks.
