This is the original castle built by Robert Dunsmuir. At the time of construction, Mr. Dunsmuir was the richest man in British Columbia. The castle boasts 39 rooms and 5 floors of antiques, stained glass and woodwork from the 19th century. The castle allows visitors a chance to turn back the hands of time and experience what life was like for the very rich in the early years of Fort Victoria. Guided tours are available throughout the day.
